Alive & kickin'!

Well...it sure has been a long time since I've posted a new blog. Sorry y'all. Since my last blog post (last May), life had pretty much decided that I was going to be the next contestant on a special version of Survivor I didn't even know I'd signed up for...boy was that fun. So many things happened so quickly, I think I got whiplash. Luckily, this has slowed down and I'm now able to take a breath, reflect, and regroup.

There has been a measurable amount of that done anyway with this quarantine life at the moment, which is also crazy in and of itself, but it's not altogether bad. I've had the chance to really sit back and determine what steps to take next, how to get myself back on track (personally and professionally), and what my long term vision is. It's not often we get that time. It's been wild, but it's been necessary. 

Luckily, I've surrounded myself with some pretty amazing people and I couldn't be more thankful for them. They've been instrumental in my journey to getting back to myself and finding out what exactly that means. I have friends who challenge me on such a profound level and that's been paramount is this phase of my life. If you haven't found friends like these yet, don't worry - you will! Make sure you keep them close when you do. 

I have made some big decisions over the last few weeks/months. There will be some major changes coming soon that are equally exciting and terrifying. I welcome you all to join me while I face this challenge. There will be missteps and times I flat out fall on my face, but I promise to keep pushing forward. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
